Okay, so this fanfic is basically about a girl called Charlotte (But shortened it to Charlie 150 later). She used to be part of a really loving family, that is until Katherine came along and killed all of her family, except Charlotte and her mom, and turned them into vampires! Charlotte had to live by Katherine's rules, and that means having to kill innocent people. When Charlotte and her mom escape from Katherine and runs away to a place called Mystic Falls, they're homeless and found by Damon Salvatore in the woods, and Giuseppe Salvatore (Damon and Stefan's father) takes them in, and soon enough they're living with the Salvatores! Soon enough, Damon and Charlotte date, and they're wonderful together!All is good, that is until Katherine finds them and meets Damon and Stefan, and soon enough plays with Damon and Stefan's heart strings. Katherine compels Damon to fall in love with her, and makes Damon slowly forget about loving Charlotte, and suddenly his whole world evolves around Katherine! Charlotte runs away from them, no longer to bare this, and stays away from Mystic Falls for 150 years. 150 years later, Charlotte returns to Mystic Falls, but calls herself Charlie, and finds out Damon is now a vampire. She has returned to Mystic Falls because her mother had been murdered, and wanted Stefan and Damon help her find out who did it. When she meets Damon again, he is cold hearted and nothing like he was when he was human. Will he stay his vampire ways, or will he be like the human he was when he met Charlotte for the first time?
